Hopi Red Dye is a versatile amaranth variety. It has at least four common usages: vegetable, grain, red dye, and flower. It is an upright and tall plant, making a bold statement for your patio or garden. Hopi Red Dye Amaranth is an indigenous species, meaning it is native to North America. It has been long used by the tribe of Hopi in Arizona. This ancient grain is not only good for human consumption. It is also good for bees and birds. Birds would prey on its yummy seeds, adding waves of dances and songs to your garden… Note from the Hundredfold grower: This is another good kid in the neighborhood. It tolerates the heat and the drought and thrives in poor soil. Our trial was planted in a 5-inch container under the scorching sun; it performed and produced as shown in the product images.
