Ontario is home to many species of goldenrod flowers. Riddell’s goldenrod is native to Ontario, however, it has become extremely rare now. It can’t even be found in many conservation areas.

Luckily I found a few scattered along an abandoned railway track and took a few precious pictures of them. One day, hopefully, Riddell’s goldenrod can be found in many folk’s backyards, doing the jobs they are supposed to do, such as attracting native bees, feeding songbirds, and beautifying your space.
