Free Giveaway of Native Seeds to Toronto Local Schools
It all started with a teacher’s inquiry. One public school teacher was planning a science project for her students to raise monarch butterflies. She bought common milkweeds from us out of her pocket. Until she emailed us for the planting guides, we did not realize the native seed needs of many.
We don’t think public school teachers or nursing home caregivers should pay for necessities such as native seeds for their jobs. Such items should be provided for free to educators and the like. Therefore, we started this native seed giveaway program for non-profits.
Eligibility for Free Native Seeds:
1. Non-profit organizations include schools, hospitals, nursing homes, and libraries.
2. Due to the limited supplies, we don’t provide free native seeds to individuals and businesses.
