Serviceberry is a hardy bush adored by many. With the changing seasons, one could watch serviceberry plants blossom with white flowers in the spring. The blossoming kick starts the Spring Shad Run in New England where fishing rods and nets are drawn out for a new fishing season.

In the summer, one can see the flowers grow into vibrant purple berries. During the fall, one watches as the leaves slowly fade to an orange-red and fall to the ground to welcome a new year of growth.
