Product description
Sugar maple is called hard maple. In addition to sugar making, its timber is valuable and its foliage is beautiful. Moreover, it is long-lived. A sugar maple tree can live up to 300 years. It is a New England tradition that newlyweds would plant a pair of sugar maple trees in their front yards. Today, many of those wedding trees are still faithfully standing by their old homes, guarding the children of children of their original owners.
