Free Native Seeds to Toronto Public Schools by Local Pickup or Add-on to a Paid Order

• This free product requires a local pickup and no shipping. 
  
• Given you are eligible for the free seeds, this order would be an add-on item. It means you can add it to your existing order with free shipping. 
• Proof of non-profit organization is required at pick-up or before shipping (e.g. a business card or a company letterhead).

It all started with a teacher’s inquiry. One public school teacher was planning a science project for her students to raise monarch butterflies. She bought common milkweeds from us out of her means. Until she emailed us for the planting guides, we did not realize the native seed needs of many.

We don’t think public school teachers or nursing home caregivers should pay for necessities for their jobs. Such items should be provided for free to educators and the like. Therefore, we started this native seed giveaway program for non-profits.

Eligibility for Free Native Seeds:

1. Non-profit organizations include schools, hospitals, nursing homes, and libraries.

2. Due to the limited supplies, we don’t provide free native seeds to individuals and businesses.

Available items:

• A- Common Milkweed (Asclepias syriaca) Seeds (50 seeds/pack)
• B- Switchgrass (Panicum virgatum) Seeds (500 seeds/pack)
  

Due to the limited supply, we only allow a maximum of two items per pickup. You may choose 2A, 2B, or A+B. 

Both available species are native to Southern Ontario. 

Pick-up time: 11 am-3 pm Wednesday weekly.

Pick-up location: our office near the intersection of Hwy401/Hwy404, Toronto.
