- Why so EXPENSIVE: Micro white clover is high in demand due to its market acceptance. At the same time, the supply is limited. Therefore, the cost of micro clover is materially higher than that of Dutch white clover. Not to mention, all clover prices increased substantially in the face of food shortage.

Make sure your seedbed and grass-seed mixes are clean before sowing. Herbicide runoff/residue may highly hinder clover germination. Invasive weeds may smother the clover seedlings.
Micro clover is a miniature version of the Dutch white clover. Micro clover produces smaller leaves and fewer flowers. It spreads out nicely without forming clumps, making it look more like turf grass. It is suggested to mix micro clover with grass seeds for lawn enhancement.
Hundredfold Note:
Micro White Clover: The Gentle Pioneer
Most pioneers are aggressive, but micro white clover is different. It spreads quickly yet peacefully, coexisting with grasses and wildflowers instead of crowding them out. At half the height of regular clover, it avoids shading out other plants, making it an ideal ground cover for lawns or meadows.
I tested its resilience on a barren, sodium-rich patch where nothing else would grow. In the first year, the clover thrived with good irrigation. By the second year, I added sunflowers, and by the third, perennials like chokeberry, milkweed, and New England Aster - all flourishing.
Whether you want a lush lawn or a layered meadow, micro white clover is the perfect gentle pioneer to get you started.
